Answers to the questions we hear most.
Four steps in the field
- 1
Stand at one corner
Open the app outdoors and wait until GPS quality shows good.
- 2
Walk the boundary
Keep the phone in your hand and walk along the edge. Pause at each corner.
- 3
Close the shape
Return to the first corner and tap Finish. Check the outline on screen.
- 4
Save and share
Name the survey, add the survey number if you know it, and share the PDF.
Do I need internet in the field?
No. GPS works without mobile data, and the app measures, saves and makes the PDF offline. Only the map background needs internet, and the app can still show your boundary outline without it.
Is the result valid for registration or disputes?
No. It is an estimate from phone GPS. For legal purposes you need a licensed surveyor and official land records.
Can the app tell me my survey number?
Not automatically. There is no free official service in India that returns a survey number for a GPS location across all states. You can type the survey number into your survey so it appears on the report, and the app links to your state land records portal.
Do I have to create an account?
Not for the free features. Paid plans need a verified email address. We never ask for a mobile number OTP.
Where is my land data stored?
On your phone. Survey boundaries leave the phone only if you choose to share a report or turn on cloud backup.
What happens when I reach 3 saved surveys on Free?
The app asks you to export or delete one, or to upgrade. It never deletes a survey on its own.
